Install Custom Recovery on YU Yureka

I hope you guys have already unlocked Yureka bootloader. Now, the next step is to install a Custom Recovery on YU Yureka. There are plenty of custom recoveries available. The popular ones are ClockWorkMod (CWM), TeamWin Recovery Project (TWRP) and Philz Recovery. 

WARNING

The process wipes all the data on Internal Memory. So, backup all necessary files.

Requirements

1. Yureka with unlocked Bootloader. (Unlock here) 
2. Windows PC.
3. Recovery image for Yureka - CWM, TWRP, Philz (AIO Package)
4. ADB & Fastboot Package.
5. USB Cable. 

Steps

1. Extract ADB Package to a folder in C: Drive.
2. To the same folder, copy the recovery.img from your desired Recovery folder present in the YU Yureka Recovery Package.
3. On your Phone, go to Settings and in Developer Options, make sure Update CM recovery is UNticked.
4. Shut down Yureka.
5. Enter fastboot mode by holding Volume Up button while connecting Yureka to the PC via USB Cable.
6. In the folder containing extracted ADB package, hold Shift and right click on an empty space.
7. Click on Open Command Window here.
8. Type fastboot -i 0x1ebf devices and press Enter to see if your device has been detected.
9. Type fastboot -i 0x1ebf flash recovery recovery.img and press Enter.
10. After finishing, unplug the USB Cable and check if properly installed. 

How to enter Recovery on YU Yureka?

1. Shut down Yureka.
2. Hold the Volume up and Volume down buttons and then power the device by holding Power button.
