Install ADB drivers on Windows PC

To fastboot Yureka for unlocking bootloader or installing a Custom Recovery, it is necessary to have ADB Drivers properly installed. If you are having problems getting YU Yureka detected in ADB, then it could be an error with ADB Drivers. Follow this guide to fix the error. This guide can be used to fix ADB errors on any Android smartphone.

Note - This guide can be used to fix ADB errors on Windows PC.

Requirements

  1. ADB Drivers 
  2. YU Yureka
  3. USB Cable

Steps 

  1. Extract the ADB Drivers to any folder. 
  2. Connect YU Yureka to PC in fastboot mode. 
  3. On your PC, go to Run and type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
  4. Under Other devices, find Android
  5. Right click on Android and click Update Driver Software.
  6. Choose Browse my Computer for driver software.
  7. Browse to the Folder containing extracted ADB drivers. Click Next.
The ADB Drivers will be installed. Thus, you have manually installed ADB drivers for YU Yureka and fixed ADB Driver errors. Now, you can find a new device in Device Manager called Android Debug Interface. To check if you device has been detected, refer the guide here

    I am having trouble transferring files from pc to my yureka, even after installing the adb drivers mentioned in the post.
    In computer, i get an option A05510 but after clicking it nothing shows.
    Please Help.

  3. hello i am android developer and i face some problem relate yu yunique. how can i this device connect to android app development tool eclipse inside eclipse this device will not display. so how to connect this device to inside eclipse DDMS. so we run our created application run to this device. so told me what i do.?

  4. I had tried too many times to get the Yureka work with ADB - and had failed. But this "Update Driver" method worked like a charm. Now Yureka works on Windows and Linux. Now I can shift my phone from Moto G1 to Yureka!
